Getting your files here

and back. Also about communication.

Communication: it's what we all work in—and we also encourage using it to plan jobs, avoid or solve problems, exchange information, ask questions, and request pickups of files with proofs or whatever:
• Telephone: (517) 332-8737 fastest, and facilitates exchange of information in both directions. Of course, coming here to talk and watch the animals works too.
• E-mail: mail@adventureswithnature.net prints out clean copy if needed, inexpensive, and fast when we're expecting it (otherwise it's trashed unread). Call to tell us if you send it.
• Fax: (517) 332-7350 for layouts, changes or corrections, and other visuals.
• Snail mail: call if you need our address for invoices, payments, and marketing.

Transportation: we get your files (usually on CDs, or on zip disks, SyQuest disks, or Rewritable Optical disks), and then you or your printer gets the file on a CD:

• Call us at 332-8737 for free pickup and delivery in the greater Lansing area.
• Bring your files here to us—then you'll get to know the other animals too.
• FTP (file transfer protocol) is the fastest and most reliable electronic delivery:
first use Stuffit to binhex or stuff your file. Then in Netscape Navigator, instead of http://..., enter the location ftp://anonymous@adventureswithnature.com , your password is your e-mail address, then go to Navigator's file menu and down to upload file, navigate to the file to be sent, double-click on it, and call us so we'll check our FTP server. Password-secured boxes on our server are also available to our clients.
• Airborne Express, Express Mail, Fed. Ex., or UPS can solve distance problems.
